In 2004, IFPRI facilitated an all-Africa conference, bringing together more than 500 actors and stakeholders from 50 countries to deliberate on how to bring about change and action to assure food and nutrition security.
Ethiopia’s Agricultural Transformation Agency
IFPRI leads a project that was launched in 2011, with support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and that provides policy research, capacity building, and policy communications support to the Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Agency (ATA).
