Measuring Hunger with Welthungerhilfe
Since 2006, IFPRI and Welthungerhilfe have been collaborating in developing and publishing the Global Hunger Index Report. Barbel Dieckman, President of Deutsche Welthungerhilfe, spoke on the impact of this Report in reducing hunger and undernutrition.
European Commission: Research for Impact
Roberto Ridolfi of EuropeAID acknowledged the impact of IFPRI's and CGIAR's work in addressing many global development challenges, "What makes the CGIAR different from the academic world is the fact that we plug research into action, into impact."
Bangladesh: Transformation into a Modern Society
Muhammad Abdul Mannan, Minister of Finance and Ministry of Planning spoke on the collaborations between IFPRI and the government of Bangladesh since the 1990s that helped the country be self-reliant, self-sufficient, and become a modern society.
